Cloud Engineer

Role Description The Cloud Engineer for AWS M&E in Cooch Behar is a full-time, on-site role focused on designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions tailored to media and entertainment workloads. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, optimizing performance and scalability, and ensuring secure, reliable operation of applications and services. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements, automating deployment and monitoring processes, and troubleshooting issues across compute, storage, networking, and databases. The Cloud Engineer will also contribute to solution architecture reviews, documentation, and best practices, while supporting continuous improvement and innovation in the M&E environment.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, including designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native environments.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and related system administration tasks, including scripting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Databases and data management concepts, including configuration, optimization, and high availability.
• Background in Software Development or scripting (e.g., Python, Java, or similar), with experience in automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of networking, security best practices, and IAM in cloud environments.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and document solutions and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with media and entertainment workloads, streaming technologies, or content delivery networks is a plus.
