About the Role

You will own the infrastructure behind an enterprise traceability platform serving government and enterprise clients across the UK, EU, and Gulf with real expectations around security, availability, and EU data residency. You will balance delivery speed with the reliability and compliance posture our clients require.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, provision, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure, including multi-region and data-residency-aware deployments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for automated build, test, and deployment.
• Manage containerised workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or Bicep/ARM.
• Support blockchain node and ledger infrastructure underpinning traceability and reporting.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Grafana/Prometheus).
• Own secrets management, identity, and access control (Key Vault, RBAC, managed identities).
• Harden security and support compliance posture, including audit trails and data-residency controls.
• Optimise cloud cost and performance; lead production incident response.

Required

• 3–5 years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering.
• Strong hands-on Azure experience.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
• Solid CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance.
• Scripting in Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Working knowledge of networking, security, and IAM.

Preferred

• Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400).
• Data-residency or regulated-industry deployment experience.
• Exposure to blockchain node or managed ledger infrastructure.
• FinOps / cost-governance practices.
