Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will support the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of cloud infrastructure while ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems. You will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to help build and maintain scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services.
• Monitor cloud environments to ensure system availability, performance, and security.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of cloud infrastructure issues.
• Assist with cloud migrations, system upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Implement and maintain cloud security best practices and access controls.
• Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and development teams to support cloud-based applications.
• Document cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor resource utilization and assist with cost optimization initiatives.
• Stay up to date with cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in cloud engineering, system administration, IT infrastructure, or a related technical role.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of networking concepts, virtualization, Linux/Windows administration, and cloud security fundamentals.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python is a plus.
• Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), or Google Associate Cloud Engineer certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Grafana is preferred.
