The role involves handling day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and ledger maintenance for clients, as well as assisting in the preparation and finalization of financial statements. You will support audit assignments, including statutory, tax, and internal audits, by performing testing, documentation, and working paper preparation. Daily tasks also include preparing and filing GST, TDS, and income tax returns, assisting with tax computations, and managing routine compliances and documentation. The role further includes coordinating with clients, responding to basic queries, preparing working files in Excel, and supporting senior team members in various advisory and compliance projects.QualificationsProfessional background as a Chartered Accountant (qualified or pursuing) or CA Drop Out with solid exposure to accounting, audit, and taxation work.Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement preparation, and ledger or familiarity with GST, TDS, income tax returns, and basic direct and indirect tax compliances.Proficiency in MS Excel and general office productivity tools; experience with accounting or ERP software is an advantage.Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.Ability to manage deadlines, handle multiple assignments, and work collaboratively in a structured office workplace.Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; additional certifications in taxation, audit, or finance are a plus.
