Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Borivali for Chartered Accountants, semi-qualified professionals, or graduates with experience in statutory audits, internal audits, and taxation. The role involves planning and executing statutory and internal audits, including testing controls, verifying documentation, and preparing working papers and audit reports.

The team member will assist in tax computations, return filings, compliance reviews, and preparation of supporting schedules and documentation. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with clients for data collection, resolving queries, ensuring adherence to accounting and auditing standards, and maintaining organized records. The role may also involve supporting senior team members in advisory assignments, drafting presentations, and contributing to process improvements within the firm.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess knowledge and practical experience in statutory audit, internal audit, and taxation, including direct and indirect tax compliance.
• Candidates should possess strong accounting and financial reporting skills, with familiarity in relevant accounting standards and audit methodologies.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software, and basic data analysis tools to prepare working papers and reports.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and client-handling skills, including the ability to document findings clearly and collaborate with team members.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Chartered Accountant qualification, or semi-qualified CA, or commerce graduate with relevant audit and tax experience will be beneficial.
• Relevant internship or prior experience in a CA firm or corporate finance/audit environment will be beneficial.
• Commitment to professional ethics, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing regulations will be beneficial.
