Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Chartered Accountant located in Alwar. The Chartered Accountant will manage day-to-day financial accounting activities, including maintaining ledgers, preparing financial statements, and ensuring accurate bookkeeping. The role involves handling budgeting, cost analysis, cash flow management, and monitoring compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations. The professional will oversee audits, support tax planning and filing, and prepare periodic financial reports for management and regulatory bodies. The Chartered Accountant will also collaborate with departmental heads to optimize resource utilization, advise on financial risks, and support strategic decision-making for the institution.

Qualifications

  • Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from a recognized body; additional certifications in finance or taxation are an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory compliance relevant to educational institutions.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis within academic or similar organizational settings.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills for working with management, auditors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high ethical and professional standards.
  • Prior experience in institutional or corporate finance is preferred; familiarity with Indian taxation and statutory requirements is beneficial.
