CA (Chartered Accountant) - from Manufacturing

About The Opportunity A dynamic and growth-focused organization in the Manufacturing & Industrial sector, we specialize in driving financial excellence, cost optimization, and compliance for large-scale production units across India. Our finance & accounts team plays a pivotal role in supporting strategic decision-making, plant-level P&L oversight, and statutory reporting for complex, multi-unit manufacturing operations.

We’re seeking a seasoned CA with hands-on experience in manufacturing finance to elevate our financial control, reporting rigor, and operational visibility. Role & Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end financial accounting for manufacturing units—including inventory valuation, cost accounting, WIP reconciliation, and factory P&L reporting.
• Ensure statutory compliance across GST, TDS, Audit, and MCA filings with strict adherence to manufacturing sector regulations and accounting standards.
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including variance analysis against budgets and production targets.
• Partner with Plant Heads and Operations to analyze cost drivers, identify savings opportunities, and recommend process improvements.
• Prepare MIS reports, capital expenditure tracking, and working capital forecasts tailored to manufacturing workflows and production cycles.
• Review and optimize inventory accounting policies, vendor payment controls, and inter-unit transfer pricing mechanisms.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• CA (Chartered Accountant) with active membership
• Manufacturing cost accounting
• Inventory valuation (FIFO, Weighted Average, Standard Costing)
• Statutory compliance (GST, TDS, MCA, Audits)
• Financial reporting for production units
• ERP systems (Tally, SAP FICO, Oracle Financials)

Preferred

• Experience in MMR, FCF, or similar cost control frameworks
• Knowledge of Indian manufacturing sector tax structures
• Experience with factory-level P&L ownership
