Role Description This is an internship role for a CA Article Trainee at RBA, based on-site in Navi Mumbai. The Article Trainee will assist in audit and assurance engagements, including compiling working papers, verifying financial records, and supporting in drafting audit reports. The role involves working on direct and indirect taxation matters such as return preparation, basic tax computations, and compliance support under guidance. The trainee will contribute to corporate advisory and related assignments, including research on regulatory updates, preparation of documentation, and assisting in client presentations. Day-to-day responsibilities also include maintaining organized files, coordinating with clients for information, and collaborating with senior team members on various professional projects.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must have cleared both groups of the CA Intermediate Examination.
• Must be currently residing in Navi Mumbai or nearby locations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong command over Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Sound knowledge of Direct Taxation, GST, and accounting concepts.
• Strong analytical, research, drafting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Positive attitude, professional ethics, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns and GST Returns.
• Assistance in Income Tax, GST, and other regulatory compliances.
• Exposure to International Taxation, including transfer pricing, FEMA, DTAA, withholding tax, and cross-border transaction advisory.
• Assistance in tax litigation, including drafting replies to notices, appeals, submissions, and representation support before tax authorities.
• Participation in Statutory Audit, Tax Audit, Internal Audit, and Due Diligence assignments.
• ROC and other corporate compliance matters.
• Accounting, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
• Research on taxation, corporate laws, and regulatory developments.
• Preparation of reports, presentations, opinions, and client documentation.
• Client coordination and interaction with government authorities.
