Position- Manager- Business Finance (Procurement)

Role- Finance Business partner with Procurement department (Individual contributor role)

Band- Manager, reporting to Head-Business Finance

** Industry preference- Only from Manufacturing sector (Automobile/Auto component/Consumer durable/ Paint/ Consumer electronics etc)

Qualification- CA with around 4-6 yrs of PQE. Business Partnering experience would be preferred .

Purpose of the job-

Business Finance Spoc with the Procurement team and drive financial discipline, cost optimization, and strategic decision making by providing actionable insights, robust financial analysis and governance across sourcing and vendor management.

Experience in Commercial finance , cost optimization would be preferred.

Job profile-

• Supports Cost Management & Savings for Procurement
• Validates cost savings claimed by Procurement (price reduction, value engineering, supplier
• renegotiation)
• • Distinguishes real P&L savings vs one time or notional savings
• • Tracks savings delivery against targets and budgets
• • Bill of materials analysis for price, mix variance
• Budgeting & Spend Control for Procurement
• Helps create procurement budgets (direct, indirect, capex)
• • Monitors actual vs budget spend
• • Flags overruns, leakage, or non-compliant spending
• • Maintain standard cost in SAP for RM
• • Detailed analysis on Purchase Price Variance & deferment
• Supplier & Category Financial Analysis
• Working Capital & Cash Flow Management
• Partners with Procurement to optimize:
• Payment terms with domestic & International Vendors
• Advance payments
• Governance, Controls & Compliance
• Ensures procurement transactions comply with:
• • Financial controls
• • Audit requirements
• • Delegation of authority
• • Strengthen SAP/process discipline (PO-GR-IR, vendor master controls)
• • Builds transparent dashboards for leadership
• ** working experience on SAP is mandatory
