We are looking for dynamic, result-oriented professionals who can drive business growth, manage teams, and strengthen retail operations across assigned territories. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales Management · Drive sales growth and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets. · Monitor, analyze, and improve sales performance across assigned retail centres and satellite hubs. · Prepare sales forecasts and implement effective sales strategies. · Coordinate with Purchase, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure timely stock availability. · Develop action plans for underperforming centres and improve profitability. · Monitor inventory movement and optimize stock utilization. · Ensure implementation of company sales policies and MIS reporting. · Achieve stock control targets while minimizing inventory losses. 2. Business Development · Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory. · Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, dealers, distributors, and institutional customers. · Conduct regular market visits to increase market penetration and business expansion. · Analyze market trends, customer buying behaviour, and competitor activities. · Recommend and implement business development strategies. · Expand dealer network and strengthen market presence. 3. Marketing & Brand Development Execute local marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Coordinate with the Corporate Marketing Team for regional promotions. Ensure proper branding and visual merchandising across all centres. Support product launches and seasonal promotional campaigns. Strengthen brand visibility within the assigned territory. 4. Operations Management · Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all assigned centres. · Monitor operational efficiency and centre profitability. · Conduct fortnightly store inspections and operational audits. · Ensure zero product expiry and minimum inventory obsolescence. · Maintain optimum inventory levels and stock placement. · Ensure compliance with company SOPs, operational standards, and statutory requirements. 5. Team Management & Leadership · Lead, mentor, and manage Centre Incharges (CI), Agriculture Growth Consultants (AGCs), Sales Executives, and other field staff. · Handle a multi-location field sales team and ensure achievement of individual and team targets. · Allocate sales targets and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance. · Conduct regular field visits to coach, mentor, and develop team members. · Ensure team discipline, attendance, productivity, and adherence to company policies. · Conduct performance reviews and implement performance improvement plans. · Identify training needs and organize product, technical, and sales training programs. · Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members. · Build a high-performance culture that promotes employee engagement and retention. 6. Customer Relationship Management · Deliver excellent customer service across all assigned centres. · Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally. · Build long-term relationships with key customers, dealers, and business partners. · Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. 7. Reporting & MIS · Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and business reports. · Maintain accurate sales, inventory, field activity, and performance records. · Present business performance reports to management. · Analyze KPIs and recommend corrective actions. · Ensure complete compliance with company MIS systems. Eligibility Criteria · Educational Qualification · B.Sc. Agriculture (Preferred) · M.Sc. Agriculture (Preferred) · MBA (Marketing / Agribusiness) will be an added advantage. Experience · Minimum 4 years of experience in Agri Inputs, Seeds, Fertilizers, Crop Protection, Agri Retail, Distribution, or Agri Sales. · Proven experience in handling field sales teams and managing multiple retail centres. · Experience in dealer development, territory management, and achieving sales targets is mandatory.
