Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper with experience in US accounting to manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities for multiple clients. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling reconciliations, and supporting month-end processes while working closely with the US-based accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for US clients.
Record and categorise financial transactions in accounting software.
Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Process invoices, bills, and expense entries.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare basic financial reports such as P&L and balance sheets.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US accounting practices.
Coordinate with the US team for queries, documentation, and deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
3+ years of bookkeeping experience for US clients or CPA firms.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Experience in bank and credit card reconciliations.
Good communication skills for client and team coordination.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with US CPA firms or outsourcing companies.
Knowledge of US payroll or sales tax (nice to have).
Working Details
Shift timings: 3hr overlap with US Team in Off Season , 5hrs in Busy Season
Work Mode: Hybrid
Growth Opportunity: Exposure to US clients, advanced accounting, and tax processes.
