Big Data Developer
Location: Bangalore or Gurgaon
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in big data development, with expertise in Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
- Strong programming skills in Scala, Java, Python, or PySpark.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain big data applications using Hadoop ecosystem technologies such as HDFS, Hive, Spark, and Kafka.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis and transformation.
- Develop data processing pipelines using Scala, Java, Python, or PySpark.
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of big data applications.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in big data and analytics.
