Job Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge.

In this role, you should have a background in data and business analysis. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator. If you also have a business acumen and problem-solving aptitude, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will develop our business intelligence solutions to help our clients make better decisions.

Translate business needs to technical specifications

• Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools)

•

Maintain and support data analytics platforms (e.g. MicroStrategy)

•

Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)

•

Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting

•

Evaluate and improve existing BI systems

•

Collaborate with teams to integrate systems

•

Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses

•

Create visualizations and reports for requested projects

Develop and update technical documentation

•

Requirements

• The role requires complete comprehension of enterprise data models and utilization of both relational and dimensional data sources.
• The ideal candidate should have experience in .Net / Sharepoint / PowerBI design and development with a general understanding of BI and reporting.
• Experience in user interface design, data sourcing, data transformation, report and dashboard
• Experience in end-to-end implementation of Business Intelligence (BI) projects, especially in scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards
• Perform detailed analysis of source systems and source system data and model that data
• Design, develop, and test scripts to import data from source systems and dashboards to meet customer requirements
• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents
• Create and maintain technical design documentation
• Perform quality coding to business and technical specifications
• Ensure that server process continues to run and operate in the most efficient manner
• Work directly with business units to define, prototype and validate applications
• Extracting, transforming and loading data from multiple sources
• Monitoring and maintenance of all components that make up the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure
• Design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support logical and dimensional models; Maintain the referential integrity of the database
• Provide input on proposing, evaluating and selecting appropriate design alternatives which meet client requirements and are consistent with clients current standards and processes
• Responsible for demonstrating software to internal / Clients Technical team as needed.
