Job Description Senior Software Engineer – Backend (Node.js, MongoDB & IoT) Location: Noida Qualification: B.Tech (Computer Science/IT) / MCA or equivalent Experience: 6–10 Years Compensation: ₹16.5 LPA CTC (Negotiable for deserving candidates) Employment Type: Full-Time About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Software Engineer who can independently design, develop, deploy, document, and maintain enterprise-grade backend applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, Socket Programming, REST APIs, scalable system architecture, and IoT communication protocols. The candidate will be expected to take complete ownership of projects from requirement analysis to production deployment while mentoring junior developers and maintaining high engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Backend Development · Design and develop scalable backend applications using Node.js. · Build robust RESTful APIs and microservices. · Develop high-performance applications capable of handling large concurrent users. · Design reusable, modular and maintainable code. · Optimize application performance and database queries. Database Design · Design and maintain MongoDB databases. · Optimize database performance using indexing and aggregation pipelines. · Design efficient schemas for large-scale applications. · Experience with MySQL database design and optimization. IoT & Communication · Develop applications involving MQTT protocol. · Develop TCP/IP Socket-based applications. · Integrate IoT devices and sensors. · Work with GPS tracking and telemetry data. · Handle real-time communication between servers and field devices. · Work with serial ports like RS232/485, TCP Protocols System Architecture · Design scalable software architecture. · Design secure API architecture. · Improve application performance and reliability. · Handle large-scale production deployments. · Develop fault-tolerant and highly available applications. Documentation (Mandatory Responsibility)The selected candidate shall be responsible for preparing and maintaining complete technical documentation for every project, including: · Software architecture · Module documentation · Database schema · API Documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI preferred) · Code flow diagrams · Deployment guide · Server configuration · Third-party integrations · Troubleshooting guide · User manuals (where applicable) Incomplete documentation shall be treated as an incomplete deliverable.
