Backend Engineer (Python) – Paid Internship 2 Month leading to Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our team. This role starts with a 2-month paid internship, leading to full-time employment based on performance. As a backend engineer, you will collaborate with our AI-ML, data, and mobile teams to develop APIs, handle data pipelines, and build scalable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for EveoAI’s AI-driven fashion recommendation system.
• Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data communication between various systems.
• Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to handle data storage and retrieval efficiently.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy services on AWS/Azure platforms.
• Contribute to building real-time recommendation and data processing systems.
• Work with the mobile app team to ensure smooth backend integration.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
• Ensure backend security, scalability, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development and database management (SQL/NoSQL).
• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in fashion, e-commerce, or AI-driven applications.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-based systems and cloud AI services.
• Familiarity with startup environments and working in agile teams.
