Backend Developer/Lead - Python/Node.js/React.js

Were looking for a Tech Lead to join the Engineering Team at Impacteers. In this role, youll lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, reliable, and high-quality technology solutions across our platform.

Youll work closely with product, design, engineering, and cross-functional teams to translate business and product requirements into practical technical solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, hands-on development experience, system design maturity, ownership mindset, and the ability to guide engineers while still staying close to execution.

You will play a key role in building AI-powered career, hiring, and workforce products that are scalable, maintainable, and meaningful for users and businesses.

Required Skills

Experience working with technologies such as Node.js, Python, React, Next.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or similar stacksExperience building SaaS platforms, marketplaces, HR tech, edtech, career tech, hiring tech, or workflow automation productsExperience with cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, monitoring, logging, and production supportStrong understanding of authentication, authorization, security basics, data privacy, and performance optimizationExperience integrating third-party APIs, AI APIs, LLM workflows, automation systems, or data pipelinesAbility to make pragmatic architecture decisions while balancing speed, scalability, and maintainabilityExperience mentoring engineers and improving team engineering practicesFamiliarity with tools such as GitHub, Jira, Notion, Linear, Postman, Figma, CI/CD tools, and observability platformsInterest in AI-powered products and practical understanding of AI considerations such as latency, cost, reliability, explainability, data quality, and fallback handlingCuriosity about emerging AI trends, developer tools, and product opportunities in the talent and career ecosystem .
