About the Role

Seven Wealth E Resources Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to architect and develop the backend infrastructure for an AI-powered fashion technology platform. You will build scalable APIs, secure cloud services, and admin dashboards that power intelligent features such as wardrobe management, AI-driven outfit recommendations, virtual try-on integration, shopping recommendations, and payment processing.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend development, cloud architecture, database design, API development, authentication, and integrating AI services into production applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend architecture for a high-performance mobile application.
• Build secure RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs for Android and iOS applications.
• Design and manage databases for user profiles, wardrobes, clothing catalogs, AI recommendations, and transaction data.
• Develop backend services for the following core AI engines:
• Recommendation Engine: Deliver personalized outfit suggestions based on wardrobe images, user preferences, weather conditions, calendar events, and occasions.
• Missing Item Engine: Analyze wardrobe data and identify missing clothing items or accessories, enabling personalized shopping recommendations.
• AI Avatar Integration: Build APIs and backend services to support virtual try-on experiences and AI-generated avatars using third-party AI models or internal services.
• Payment & Subscription Engine: Integrate secure payment gateways, subscription management, and transaction processing.
• Develop secure authentication and authorization systems using JWT, OAuth, OTP, or social logins.
• Build comprehensive admin dashboards for managing users, wardrobes, recommendations, analytics, transactions, and application content.
• Integrate weather APIs, calendar APIs, e-commerce platforms, AI APIs, and notification services.
• Optimize backend performance for low latency, scalability, and high availability.
• Implement logging, monitoring, caching, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Ensure application security, data privacy, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with mobile developers, AI engineers, UI/UX designers, and product managers throughout the development lifecycle.
• Deploy and maintain backend services on cloud platforms while ensuring high uptime and reliability.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong expertise in Node.js (Express/NestJS), Python (FastAPI/Django), or similar backend frameworks.
• Experience designing scalable RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Strong knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs, including OpenAI, Google Gemini, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
• Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and API security.
• Experience with Redis, caching strategies, background jobs, and message queues.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Git.
• Knowledge of Firebase, Supabase, or similar Backend-as-a-Service platforms is an advantage.
• Experience integrating payment gateways such as Razorpay, Stripe, or similar providers.
• Strong understanding of scalable system design, database optimization, and microservices architecture.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience building AI-powered SaaS or consumer applications.
• Knowledge of recommendation systems, image processing, computer vision, or virtual try-on technologies.
• Experience with analytics dashboards and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and real-time technologies such as WebSockets is a plus.
