Job Summary

We are specifically looking for a skilled Node.js developer to join our backend team. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining our backend infrastructure, including APIs, microservices, and databases. You will be responsible for ensuring that our backend systems are scalable, performant, and secure. You will also work closely with our front-end developers to ensure that our APIs are well-documented and easy to use.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Node.js

Build and maintain APIs using RESTful principles

Develop and maintain microservices using microservice architectures

Design and optimize database schemas

Implement security measures to protect our backend systems

Write well-documented code and maintain transparent documentation

Work closely with front-end developers to ensure a smooth integration between the backend and frontend

Collaborate with other backend developers to share knowledge and solve problems

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related technical field

1+ year of experience in backend development using Node.js

Robust proficiency in Node.js, Express, and other relevant frameworks and libraries

Experience with database technologies, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB

Experience with microservice architectures

Experience with API development using RESTful principles

Experience with security measures, such as OAuth and JWT

Experience with code versioning tools, such as Git

Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Robust communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure

Experience with GraphQL

Experience with event-driven architectures

Experience with real-time data processing

Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence
