Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with 3-4 years of experience in developing scalable backend applications using Node.js, NestJS, and Python. The ideal candidate should have expertise in TypeScript, JavaScript, REST APIs, TypeORM, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Node.js, NestJS, and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Design and manage database schemas using TypeORM.
• Create and manage entities, migrations, repositories, and relationships.
• Optimize SQL queries and database performance.
• Work with PostgreSQL and MySQL databases.
• Test and debug APIs using Postman.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 3 - 4 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, NestJS, and Python.
• Excellent knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience with TypeORM.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Experience with Postman.
• JWT authentication and role-based authorization.
• Git version control.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of Redis or caching mechanisms.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices architecture and message queues (RabbitMQ/Kafka).
• Knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of Python frameworks (FastAPI/Django/Flask) is an added advantage.
