Job Description

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs.
• Implement server-side business logic and application functionality.
• Integrate databases, third-party APIs, payment gateways, and other external services.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other technical teams to ensure smooth application integration.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

• Develop scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Implement server-side business logic and application workflows.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
• Ensure backend applications are secure, reliable, and efficient.

Database Management

• Integrate backend applications with relational databases.
• Work with:
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• Design and optimize database queries where required.
• Ensure proper data handling and database security.

API & Payment Integration

• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Implement payment gateway integrations.
• Troubleshoot API and integration-related issues.

Authentication & Security

• Implement authentication and authorization systems.
• Follow backend security best practices.
• Protect application data and APIs from unauthorized access.
• Handle secure user and session management.

Deployment & Server Support

• Work with basic cloud and server environments.
• Support application deployment and configuration.
• Troubleshoot basic server and production-related issues.
• Monitor application performance and reliability.

Experience
