Trun Network is building a next-generation logistics platform that powers last-mile deliveries across the ONDC ecosystem and enterprise commerce platforms. Our platform connects buyers, merchants, logistics partners, and delivery riders through a highly scalable technology stack capable of handling high transaction volumes and real-time logistics operations.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who has built and managed the backend systems of a delivery partner application or logistics platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience developing high-performance backend services for rider management, dispatch, live tracking, order orchestration, and logistics operations.

Candidates with experience in ONDC, Beckn Protocol, hyperlocal logistics, food delivery, grocery delivery, courier, or quick commerce platforms will be preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesDelivery Platform Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services powering our logistics and delivery ecosystem, including:

• Rider onboarding, KYC, and account management
• Rider authentication and secure device binding
• Rider online/offline availability management
• Rider profile, documents, and compliance management
• Fleet and vehicle management
• Store onboarding and management
• Merchant and operational dashboards

Order Lifecycle Management

Develop backend services supporting the complete delivery lifecycle, including

• Order ingestion and validation
• Intelligent rider allocation and dispatch
• Order acceptance and timeout handling
• Pickup and delivery workflow management
• Order reassignment and redispatch
• Cancellation and exception management
• Returns and reverse logistics
• Delivery confirmation and Proof of Delivery (POD)
• Real-time order status updates
• SLA monitoring and operational alerts

Rider & Fleet Operations

Develop systems for

• Real-time rider GPS tracking
• Live ETA calculation
• Geofencing and serviceability
• Route optimisation
• Rider incentives and earnings
• Delivery payout calculations
• Dynamic pricing and surge pricing
• Attendance and shift management
• Fleet performance monitoring
• Operational reporting and analytics

ONDC & External Integrations

Develop and maintain integrations with

• ONDC Buyer Applications
