As a Backend Developer Intern, Specialist, you will engage in the dynamic field of Software and Product Innovation, focusing on Software Engineering. Within our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, you will contribute to developing cutting-edge software solutions that drive client success. As a Specialist, you will provide specialized technical knowledge, handling detailed tasks and in-depth analyses to support specific projects. You will adapt to a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work, and consistently deliver quality results that drive value for clients and contribute to the team's success.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to design, develop, and implement backend solutions that meet client needs. Your role will involve applying your technical skills to solve complex problems and support the delivery of innovative software products. Responsibilities

Developing and maintaining backend systems using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++ Implementing software development methodologies including Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) Conducting code reviews and adhering to coding standards to enhance software quality Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for software solutions Utilizing API Management and Microservices architecture to design scalable and efficient applications Debugging and troubleshooting software issues to validate seamless functionality Supporting application lifecycle management and software project planning activities Engaging in quality assurance testing to validate software performance and reliability Applying object-oriented design principles and enterprise application architecture in software development Participating in business process improvement initiatives to optimize software solutions

What You Must Have

At least a Bachelor's degree At least 1 years of experience Oral and written proficiency in English required
