Backend Developer Intern (Richmond Town)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js, Express.js, and Python.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and backend services.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
• Handle application deployment, server setup, and AWS cloud hosting.
• Collaborate with frontend developers for API integrations.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain backend performance.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

Required Skills

• Solid knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and Python.
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, authentication, and authorization.
• Strong deployment and development skills are required.
• Experience with AWS, Linux servers, and production deployment.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently with a strong learning attitude.
