Backend Developer Intern

About the Role

Kontent Kraft Digital is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Backend Developer Intern who is eager to learn and work on real-world web applications. The candidate will assist in developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems, APIs, databases, and server-side logic for various client and in-house projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Build and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Assist in deploying applications on cloud platforms and hosting servers.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in team meetings and project discussions.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL databases.
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Basic understanding of authentication methods (JWT, Sessions).
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Next.js backend functions.
• Experience with Firebase or cloud services.
• Understanding of server deployment on AWS, Render, Vercel, or Hostinger.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman.

Eligibility

• Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech, BCA, MCA, M.Tech, or related degree.
• Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the Jaipur office.
