Backend Developer (Go) — Vaurd

You'll build and own backend services powering Vaurd's validation engine — the systems that ingest events, run agent-based checks, and fire actions at runtime. This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You'll ship to production, touch distributed systems, and grow fast alongside a small team.

• Language: Go (Fiber)
• APIs: HTTP & gRPC
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Messaging: Kafka & NATS
• Deployment: Kubernetes

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

• Solid Go fundamentals — goroutines, channels, error handling, interfaces
• Experience building REST / HTTP APIs
• Comfortable with SQL / PostgreSQL — schema design, queries, indexing basics
• Understanding of concurrency & how backend services fit together
• Clean code, git, and a debugging mindset

Bonus (or willing to learn fast)

• gRPC / protobuf
• Event-driven systems — Kafka or NATS
• Kubernetes / containers / Docker
• Distributed systems concepts (idempotency, retries, eventual consistency)
