We are NeuralBits Technologies, makers of Presco One — India's first fully-SaaS, tablet-native, NABH+ABDM+WASA-certified Hospital Operating System. We serve 700+ hospitals across 44 cities.

We are hiring 2 backend developers to own the Billing & Finance module of our HMIS platform.

Two non-negotiable requirements. Please do not apply if you do not meet both

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with accounting or ERP software

You must have worked on Tally, Zoho Books, SAP FI, Marg, Busy, or similar — as a developer, implementer, or domain consultant. You should be able to speak fluently about double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, GST, TDS, ledger structure, receivables and payables workflows, and financial reporting. This is our hardest filter — candidates without genuine accounting-software depth will not clear our first round.

• Comfort working in a AI-first development environment

We are an AI-first engineering team. Developers are responsible for defining requirements, reviewing AI's output, catching edge cases, debugging, testing, and ensuring production quality. Deep Laravel syntax skill is not what we hire for — domain expertise, judgment, and critical thinking are. Candidates who are excited by AI-assisted development thrive here. Candidates who resist it will not.

• Backend: Laravel (PHP framework)
• Database: MySQL
• Currently based in Mumbai (or willing to relocate before joining)

Preferred (not required)

• Prior experience in hospital billing, insurance TPA workflows, or medical billing software
• CA-Inter, B.Com with accounting specialization, or equivalent domain training
• Multi-tenant SaaS experience

What you will own

• Hospital billing engine (IPD, OPD, packages, discounts, insurance/TPA)
• GST + TDS compliance workflows
• General ledger, receivables, payables, ledger integrity
• Financial reporting — P&L, balance sheet, aged receivables, trial balance
• Tally integration and reconciliation
• Statutory reports and audit trails

Location: Mumbai

CTC: Based on experience and depth of accounting-domain expertise
