Role: AWS Data Engineer

Job Type: Long Term Contract

Location: Remote

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of software development experience with focus on analytical platforms and 3+ years in data platforms/big data ecosystems.
• Strong expertise in AWS EMR, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Apache Iceberg, Python, and Spark programming.
• Experience building highly scalable, low-latency data systems using DynamoDB, Aurora, PostgreSQL, and Redshift.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AWS data lakehouse architectures with hands-on experience in Step Functions, Lambda, and EventBridge.
• Preferred exposure to Kinesis, Firehose, SQS, Bedrock, SageMaker, real-time streaming, event-driven architectures, and ML data pipelines.
