We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering with a strong background in operating systems, web services, programming, networking, virtualization, and security & recovery. As a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and security. Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud solutions based on best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and implement cloud infrastructure.
• Configure and manage virtualized environments using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, etc.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows for provisioning, deployment, and monitoring using tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect data, systems, and infrastructure in the cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and application deployment.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, technologies, and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide support for production environments as needed.

Requirements Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on AWS.
• Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows).
• Proficiency in web services and APIs (REST, SOAP) for integration purposes.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Go.
• In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and Internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).

Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with backup, disaster recovery, and data protection mechanisms in AWS.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
