AWS Cloud Engineer ( Contractual Role )

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, cloud architecture, and deployment automation, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Implement automation using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or other Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud-based applications and services for performance, cost, and security.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, governance, and best practices in cloud architecture.
• Perform backup, disaster recovery planning, and risk assessment for cloud resources.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging AWS services and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud services and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CodePipeline.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and cloud security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect / AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and migration strategies.
