The Associate UX designer is the player's advocate on the team. You’ll be responsible for crafting delightful player experiences that impact millions of gamers worldwide. The role requires you to have a holistic approach to experience design, from concept to execution. Work closely with game designers, artists and product managers to develop unique concepts and bring them to life with clear wireframes and effective prototypes.

Requirements

Required skills

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating robust knowledge of design fundamentals
  • Basic knowledge of games (be it mobile, PC, console, board games etc)
  • Empathy for players, young and old
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and strong opinions on it
  • Great communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate design decisions
  • Decent research, observation and deconstruction skills
  • Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or similar wireframing tools
  • If you love games. This helps you empathise with players a lot more easily.
  • Visual design skills are also good to have. This enables you to communicate better with the game artists.
  • If you have experience designing for accessibility. Many of our players have additional needs and it’s always good to have a designer who’s particularly mindful of it.
  • If you’re able to use mathematics to your advantage. A lot of design decisions are data‑driven, and understanding the numbers gives you an edge.
