Associate QA Engineer, SAP

Position Summary The Associate QA Engineer SAP (SD/MM) will support Quality Assurance activities for LATAM (Brazil) SAP projects, with a primary focus on SAP SD (Sales Distribution) and SAP MM (Materials Management) processes.

This role is ideal for candidates with basic SAP knowledge or limited experience, who are eager to learn SAP QA practices and contribute to Brazil-specific localization and tax-related testing initiatives.

This role is based in Hyderabad, India.

Key Responsibilities

Test Preparation Execution

• Assist in preparing test cases, test scripts, and test data based on functional requirements.
• Execute functional testing, integration testing, and regression testing under guidance.
• Validate core SAP SD/MM business processes, including:
• Order-to-Cash (SD): Sales Orders, Delivery, Billing
• Procure-to-Pay (MM): Purchase Requisition, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification
• Support validation of integration between SD and MM processes.

Brazil Localization Compliance Testing

• Support testing for Brazil-specific SAP localization (Tax Reforms, fiscal requirements)
• Assist in validation of:
• Tax-related configurations
• Billing and invoicing processes
• End-to-end transaction flows impacted by localization
• Work on assigned test cases for country-specific regulatory changes

Defect Management

• Identify, log, and track defects using QA tools (e.g., Jira)
• Support defect triage and retesting after fixes
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely defect resolution

Collaboration Communication

• Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and business teams to understand requirements
• Participate in daily stand-ups and QA discussions
• Provide updates on testing progress, issues, and risks

Quality Assurance Documentation

• Maintain proper records of test cases, execution results, and defects
• Follow QA standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle
• Support QA reporting and tracking activities

Required Skills Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Experience

• 1 5 years of experience in SAP or Software Testing
• Freshers with SAP SD/MM training can also be considered

Technical Skills

• Basic understanding of SAP SD or MM modules
• Knowledge of:
• SD: Sales Order, Delivery, Billing
• MM: Procurement lifecycle
• Familiarity with:
• Testing concepts (test cases, defect lifecycle, regression testing)
• QA tools like Jira (good to have)

Soft Skills

• Strong willingness to learn and adapt
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a global and cross-regional environment (LATAM coordination)

Good to Have

• Exposure to Brazil SAP localization (Tax / Fiscal processes)
