Associate QA Engineer

Job Title: QA Engineer (Freshers)

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh (On-site, IST)

Experience: Freshers (recently passed out)

Role Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented QA Engineers to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Manual and Automation Testing, excellent communication skills, and a strong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced IT environment.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Manual Testing concepts and SDLC/STLC
• Understanding of Automation Testing (academic project or internship exposure preferred)
• Basic knowledge of Selenium, Java/Python, or any automation tool is a plus
• Understanding of API testing using Postman is an advantage
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong learning attitude and professional approach

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases and report defects accurately
• Assist in developing and maintaining automation test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
• Validate application functionality and document test results
• Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues
• Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and release validation
• Continuously learn modern QA tools, automation frameworks, and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project in Software Testing or QA
• Basic knowledge of Git, SQL, or API Testing
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
