Dayananda Sagar University is looking for a passionate Assistant Professor – Game Design & Development to join its faculty team.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Game Design, Game Development, Game Mechanics, Level Design, and Game Programming.
• Mentor students in game prototyping, interactive storytelling, UI/UX, and real-time rendering.
• Work with Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Blender, and related industry tools.
• Guide student projects, game jams, research, and industry collaborations.
• Develop industry-aligned curriculum and contribute to academic activities.
• Explore AI-driven game development, AR/VR, XR, and immersive technologies.
• Develop AR/VR platform-based games and applications.

Eligibility & Skills

• Master’s degree/PhD in Game Design, Game Development, Computer Science, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of relevant teaching or industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, C, C++, Python, and game development workflows.
• Knowledge of game mechanics, level design, AI, physics, procedural generation, and interactive media.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills.
