Job summary

A leading Proptech company is looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant with 2+ years of experience in Indirect Taxation to join the team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of GST laws, practical compliance experience, and the ability to manage tax-related operations, reconciliations, and statutory compliances while coordinating with internal stakeholders.

A leading Proptech company assisting property owners to directly buy properties from land lords / owners. The company has raised over 300 million USD in over 8 rounds of funding The Company also is engaged in several e-commerce activities viz., painting, cleaning, packers and movers etc.

Location : Sarjapur road, Bengaluru

Designation: Assistant Manager- Indirect Taxation

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage GST and STPI compliances.
• Review agreements from an indirect tax perspective.
• Perform GST reconciliations and ensure tax compliance.
• Support month-end/year-end financial closing for tax matters.
• Coordinate with internal teams and assist during tax audits and assessments.
• Ensure compliance with applicable GST laws and maintain relevant documentation.

Requirements

• Strong conceptual understanding of GST and allied laws with practical application
• Experience in GST compliances, reconciliations, and tax audits
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Good analytical, communication, and team management skills

Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: 2–4 years of experience in Indirect Taxation, preferably from industry

Working days: Monday- Friday
