Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Article Trainee / Audit Associate. The role involves assisting in statutory and internal audits, including planning, execution, and documentation of audit procedures. Daily tasks include reviewing financial records, verifying supporting documents, performing analytical reviews, and preparing working papers and audit reports under guidance. The Article Trainee / Audit Associate will help in drafting observations, discussing findings with senior team members, and supporting compliance checks with applicable accounting and auditing standards. The role also includes maintaining organized files, meeting deadlines, and participating in training sessions to enhance technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Financial Statements and basic Finance concepts.
  • Ability to perform and interpret Financial Audits and general Auditing procedures.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills for reviewing data, identifying trends, and assessing variances.
  • Pursuing or completed professional courses such as CA Articleship, or equivalent audit/finance training.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and relevant standards (e.g., GAAP/Ind AS, auditing standards).
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and basic office software for documentation and analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a structured environment.
