Role Description The Article Assistant role at The CA Desk is a contract, on-site position based in Rajkot. The Article Assistant will support Chartered Accountants in day-to-day assignments, including documentation, data entry, and preparation of working papers for taxation, compliance, and audit engagements. Responsibilities include assisting in drafting reports, maintaining client files, coordinating information collection from clients, and contributing to process implementation and internal controls. The role may involve basic research on regulations, preparing summaries, and supporting cross-border and NRI-related assignments under supervision. The Article Assistant will work closely with senior team members to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely completion of tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting, taxation, and auditing principles, preferably gained through CA articleship or related academic studies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfort with technology-driven and digital compliance systems.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear documentation, reports, and working papers.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with deadlines.
- Professional ethics, confidentiality, and willingness to learn from CA-led mentorship in a structured advisory environment.
- Relevant educational background such as CA student (IPCC/Inter), B.Com, or equivalent qualification; prior internship or articleship experience is an advantage.
