Role Description The Article Assistant will support qualified professionals in delivering assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory services to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with audit and assurance assignments, preparing working papers, supporting tax computations and filings, and helping with documentation for compliance and advisory engagements. The role involves researching relevant accounting, auditing, and tax standards, maintaining organized files and records, and collaborating with team members to meet engagement timelines. The Article Assistant will also interact with clients under guidance to collect information, clarify queries, and support smooth execution of assignments. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Nathdwara.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in accounting principles, auditing concepts, and basic taxation, supported by relevant academic background (e.g., pursuing or completed CA articleship eligibility, B.Com or equivalent).
- Ability to work with financial statements, prepare schedules and working papers, and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and comfort with accounting and tax-related software tools.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document findings clearly and interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured processes and timelines.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and willingness to learn across assurance, tax, transaction, and advisory service areas.
- Ability to work on-site in Nathdwara, collaborate in a team environment, and manage workload during peak compliance and audit periods.
