Job Description

RSM India is seeking an Application Security Tester to perform security assessments of web, mobile, and API applications to identify vulnerabilities and support secure development practices.

Required Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

Certifications

• CEH (Mandatory)
• OSCP (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated security testing on web, mobile, and API applications.
• Perform SAST, DAST, and SCA using industry-standard tools.
• Identify, document, and validate vulnerabilities based on OWASP Top 10 and SANS CWE-25.
• Work with engineering teams to support remediation with clear technical guidance.
• Review security requirements, design docs, source code, and architecture.
• Analyze false positives and optimize tool configurations.
• Prepare detailed reports with risk ratings and reproduction steps.
• Conduct secure coding awareness sessions for developers.
• Track and verify fixes through retesting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Cyber Security (No Freshers).
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and application security.
• Hands-on experience with VAPT tools (Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, Nmap, Wireshark).
• Familiarity with programming/scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
