Angular Developer

Position Overview

Applix is seeking a highly skilled Senior Angular Developer with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in modern front-end development with expertise in Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

This role requires a technically proficient engineer who can lead front-end development initiatives, architect scalable solutions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality applications. Experience with RxJS and NgRx is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using Angular.
• Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components following Angular best practices.
• Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code using TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and backend services into Angular applications.
• Implement responsive user interfaces compatible across modern browsers and devices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Technical Leadership

• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to front-end architecture decisions.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Establish and promote front-end development standards and best practices.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Backend Engineers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Application Quality & Security

• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure application code.
• Identify and remediate application security vulnerabilities.
• Conduct peer code reviews and enforce coding standards.
• Improve application performance through continuous optimization.

Issue Resolution

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex production issues.
• Support deployment activities and resolve release blockers.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.

Team Development

• Mentor junior developers through technical coaching and code reviews.
• Share knowledge and promote continuous learning within the team.
• Participate in technical interviews and recruitment activities.

Required Experience

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in Angular development.
• Proven experience building enterprise-scale web applications using Angular.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum software development teams.
• Experience leading technical implementations and mentoring development teams.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Master's Degree is an added advantage.
