Persistent is hiring an AI/ML Engineer focused on LLMs, Generative AI, Machine Learning, Python, SQL, and MLOps. The role is full-time and based across Persistent locations.

Experience

• 7 to 12 years
• 5–12+ years in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related domains

Qualification

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field
• Degree from a reputed university

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, fine-tune, and deploy LLM and Generative AI applications
• Build and optimize RAG solutions, prompt engineering frameworks, and AI agents
• Develop, train, and evaluate ML models using Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn
• Design scalable data pipelines and work with structured and unstructured data using SQL
• Implement MLOps best practices including model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, governance, and automated deployments
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver AI-powered solutions
• Optimize model performance, scalability, security, and cost efficiency
• Stay current with advancements in AI, GenAI, LLMs, and emerging technologies

Additional Responsibilities

• Work with vector databases, embeddings, and AI agent frameworks
• Support model deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, and automation in MLOps workflows

Nice To Have

• Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred
