AEM DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AEM Cloud Service environments using Cloud Manager
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments
• Automate build and deployment processes using Jenkins, Git, Maven, and scripting tools (Shell/Python)
• Monitor system health, perform performance tuning, and troubleshoot production issues
• Handle environment provisioning, release management, and rollback strategies
• Ensure compliance with security standards, governance, and best practices
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and architects to streamline release cycles
• Manage logs, alerts, and monitoring tools to ensure high availability and reliability
• Support multi-environment setups (dev, stage, prod) and configuration management
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and DevOps maturity within the team

Required Skills & Experience

• 68 years of IT experience with strong focus on AEM DevOps / AEM Cloud Service
• Hands-on experience with AEM Cloud Manager, pipelines, and deployment workflows
• Strong understanding of AEM architecture (author, publish, dispatcher)
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, Bitbucket
• Build tools: Maven, Gradle
• Scripting knowledge: Shell, Python (preferred)
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud-native deployments
• Understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform, ARM templates, etc.) is a plus
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, logging frameworks, and performance tuning
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AEM performance and deployment issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)
• Knowledge of security practices, SSL, CDN, and caching strategies (Dispatcher/CDN)
• Adobe AEM or DevOps certifications
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments
