Accounts / Finance Assistant

Role Description This full-time Accounts / Finance Assistant role is an on-site position based in Pune City. The role involves supporting daily accounting and finance operations, including preparing and processing invoices, recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The Accounts / Finance Assistant will help with bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and preparation of basic financial reports. The role includes coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve billing or payment queries, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with internal policies. The individual will also support month-end and year-end closing activities and maintain organized financial records.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Accounting and Finance skills, including familiarity with basic bookkeeping, ledgers, and financial reporting.
• Candidates should possess Invoicing skills with attention to detail in billing, payment processing, and documentation.
• Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, and support decision-making.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with colleagues, vendors, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) is beneficial.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work accurately under deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and follow established financial procedures.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance support role will be an advantage.
