Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Abohar. The Accountant will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, managing petty cash, and supporting tax and statutory compliance. The role also involves preparing regular financial reports, assisting with budgeting, tracking expenses, and coordinating with management on cost control and cash flow planning. The Accountant will collaborate with internal teams, ensure accuracy in financial records, and support audits and other regulatory requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems) and MS Excel for data entry and analysis.
• Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations accurately and on time.
• Understanding of taxation, GST, and local regulatory compliance relevant to trading and retail operations.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organization skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with operations and management teams.
• Relevant educational background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role; experience in retail or trading environments is an advantage.
