Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST compliance, and ensuring timely financial reporting. The role requires proficiency in Zoho Books, accounting principles, and statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books.
• Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GST data, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Generate invoices and follow up on receivables.
• Process vendor payments and maintain payable records.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and MIS reports.
• Assist with audits and maintain accurate financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com/M.Com preferred).
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and GST compliance.
• Good knowledge of TDS, bank reconciliation, and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

Ability to commute/relocate

• Kochi, Kerala (Kochi): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
