Remote | US Accounting Exposure | Full-Time | 6 AM - 3 PM PT
Overview
Were hiring a detail-oriented Accountant (Full-Cycle / GL Accountant) with minimum 3 years of experience. Ready to take full ownership of our accounting function and replace our outsourced bookkeeping model. This role is critical to ensuring accurate, timely, and audit-ready financials.
Looking for someone with strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
Compensation
Around 800 to 1000 USD
Key Responsibilities
Own the complete month-end close process (close by the 5th business day)Prepare and post accruals, prepaid, deferrals, and re-classesHandle bank, credit card, AR, and AP reconciliationsMaintain accrual, prepaid, and deferred revenue schedulesReview and correct AR/AP entries from the AR/AP ClerkEnsure proper COGS and revenue matching and flag timing issuesPrepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Trial BalanceKeep QuickBooks Online audit-readyCoordinate with external CPA for tax and audit supportMaintain month-end paperwork and supporting documentation
Must-Have
Comfortable working in the flexible US shift (6 AM - 3 PM Pacific Time).Bachelor of Commerce (required), Master of Commerce (M. Com.) / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred3+ years of work experience with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and full-cycle accounting (month-end close, accruals, and reconciliations)Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks OnlineAdvanced Excel / Google Sheets skillsMonth-end close ownership, accruals/prepaids/deferred revenue, balance-sheet reconciliations, financial-statement preparation, revenue & COGS matching. Clear written and spoken English with the ability to explain financial entries and variancesStrong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Prior work with US outsourced accounting firms Exposure to Bill.com, Gusto, Avalara, or similar tools.
