Accountant – Export Oriented Software Unit

Key Responsibilities

Books of Accounts & General Accounting

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts using Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations
• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and payroll-related accounting
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, P&L, and balance sheet summaries for management review
• Assist in monthly/quarterly/annual book closures

Statutory Compliance

• TDS: Computation, deduction, timely deposit, and filing of quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q/26Q); issuance of Form 16/16A
• GST: Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual return (GSTR-9); reconciliation of GSTR-2B/ITC
• PF & ESI: Monthly computation, payment, and return filing; coordination with PF/ESI consultants as needed
• Professional Tax (PT) and other applicable state-level compliances
• Coordination with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and CA firms for audits and annual filings

Export-Oriented Unit (EOU) / Software Export Compliance

• Working knowledge of SEZ/STPI/EOU regulations applicable to software/IT export units
• Filing of SOFTEX forms for software export declarations (RBI/STPI requirement)
• Handling export invoicing under Letter of Undertaking (LUT) for zero-rated GST supplies
• Tracking and reconciling Foreign Inward Remittance Certificates (FIRC) against export invoices
• Coordination with authorized dealer banks for export remittance follow-ups
• Basic familiarity with DGFT/IEC-related documentation, if applicable

Other

• Support internal and statutory audits with required schedules and documentation
• Maintain compliance calendars to ensure zero late filings/penalties
• Liaise with external consultants (CA, company secretary, STPI officials) as required

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
