Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant & Cost Analyst with 3–5 years of experience in the jewellery industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, inventory management, costing, and financial reporting related to gold, diamonds, gemstones, and jewellery manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform product-wise and job-wise cost analysis.
• Calculate manufacturing costs, wastage, recovery, and profitability.
• Monitor gold, diamond, gemstone, and finished goods inventory.
• Reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
• Prepare inventory valuation reports.
• Analyze gross margins and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Handle GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Prepare MIS reports for management.
• Monitor purchase costs, making charges, and production variances.
• Work closely with production, procurement, and sales teams.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in jewellery costing and inventory management.
• Good understanding of gold and diamond accounting.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis).
• Experience with ERP software such as Jewel ACC, Reach, Oracle, SAP, Tally Prime, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• 3–5 years in a Jewellery Manufacturing, Wholesale, or Retail company.
• Experience in costing of gold, diamond, silver, and gemstone jewellery.
• Knowledge of inventory reconciliation and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in ERP-based accounting systems.
