Role Description The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking payables and receivables, assisting with payroll calculations, and supporting month-end and year-end closing. The role involves preparing basic financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders such as vendors or auditors. The Accountant will also help monitor cash flow, support budgeting activities, and maintain accurate documentation for all financial records. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Raniganj.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, ledger management, and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Ability to manage invoices, payables, receivables, and support payroll processing accurately and on time.
• Attention to detail, strong numeric skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site in Raniganj, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Relevant educational background in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (e.g., B.Com or equivalent); professional certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in retail, trading, or similar commercial environments is beneficial but not mandatory.
