Account Manager - IT Staffing & Recruitments

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager with a strong background in IT Recruitment/Staffing. The ideal candidate should have progressed from recruitment into account management and possess hands-on experience managing client relationships, driving staffing engagements, and ensuring successful delivery.

Experience Required

• 2+ years of experience in an Account Manager role within an IT Staffing/Recruitment firm.
• Prior experience in IT Recruitment before transitioning into Account Management.
• Total experience: 4-8 years (preferred).

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with existing IT staffing clients.
• Act as the primary point of contact for client staffing requirements.
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery of qualified candidates.
• Understand client business needs and workforce planning requirements.
• Drive client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
• Monitor recruitment metrics, hiring pipelines, and service delivery.
• Conduct regular client reviews and identify opportunities for business expansion.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve hiring challenges and ensure smooth execution.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of IT Recruitment and Staffing processes.
• Proven experience in client/account management within a staffing firm.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working with enterprise and mid-market clients is preferred.

Preferred Background

• Started career as an IT Recruiter and moved into Account Management.
• Experience working in a Recruitment/Staffing organization is mandatory.
• Familiarity with permanent hiring, contract staffing, and managed staffing engagements.
