Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Worked on Technology SaaS platforms and has hands-on experience building technology and products.
- Someone who has participated in building the developer experience for a product and who understands the marketplace and mindset of developers available in the market.
- Someone willing to communicate and manage developer communities
- Proven experience in a technical leadership role, with a focus on developer experience improvement.
- Deep understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
- Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
- Stakeholder management and a proven track record of working with external agencies or companies
Job Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical leadership in shaping and executing the developer experience strategy.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement best practices for software development, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
- Program Management:
- Lead and manage strategic technical programs related to developer experience, overseeing end-to-end delivery and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Engineering, Founders, and Partners and align everyone consistently to define program objectives, scope, milestones, and success criteria.
- Tooling and Infrastructure:
- Evaluate, select, and implement cutting-edge developer tools and infrastructure to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Drive the adoption of industry best practices and ensure the continuous improvement of tools and processes.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Foster a culture of collaboration and open communication within the engineering teams and across departments.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment of goals.
- Will be responsible for getting the roadmap implemented and measuring the success and value of the same via some critical metrics.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain high standards for code quality, documentation, and development processes.
- Implement and track metrics to measure and improve code quality, developer satisfaction, and overall development efficiency.
